1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, and business name submitted through our contact form or via email.
- Inquiry details: Description of your business, services you're interested in, and operational context you share in messages.
- Consulting engagement data: During active consulting engagements, you may share business-sensitive information including but not limited to: revenue and profit data, vendor contracts and pricing, POS and sales reports, employee counts and labor data, inventory records, operational workflows, and financial statements. This information is governed by your consulting agreement and treated as confidential.
Information Collected Automatically
- Server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server access logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used for security and debugging purposes only.
We do not use cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or any technology that tracks your browsing behavior across websites on avissh.com.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To deliver consulting services you have engaged us for
- To send you information about our services (only if you have requested it)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services and Tools
We use the following third-party services in operating our website and consulting practice:
Website
- Vercel (hosting) — Serves this website and collects standard server access logs.
- FormSubmit.co (contact form routing) — Routes form submissions to our email inbox. FormSubmit.co processes your name, email, and message content.
Consulting Engagements
- Google Workspace (email and file storage) — Client communications and project files may be stored in Google Drive and Gmail.
- AI tools (Anthropic Claude) — We may use AI tools to assist with analysis, code generation, and deliverable creation during engagements. When we do, we use API-based access where inputs are not used to train third-party models and are not retained by the AI provider after processing. We do not upload raw client data containing personally identifiable information to AI tools without your knowledge.
- Any additional tools used for your specific engagement will be disclosed in your consulting agreement or statement of work.
We do not share your information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention
- Contact form inquiries: Retained for 2 years after your last communication, then deleted.
- Email correspondence: Retained for 2 years after your last communication, then deleted.
- Consulting engagement data: Retained for 3 years after project completion for legal, tax, and warranty purposes, then permanently deleted unless a longer period is required by law or your consulting agreement specifies otherwise.
- Server access logs: Retained by Vercel per their standard log retention policy (typically 30 days).
You may request early deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@avissh.com, subject to any legal retention requirements.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:
- All website communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- Client project files are stored in access-controlled cloud storage with two-factor authentication
- Consulting engagement data is accessible only to Avissh and authorized team members working on your engagement
- We do not store payment card information — invoicing is handled through standard business invoicing practices
- Sensitive client data is never stored on unsecured devices or transmitted over unencrypted channels
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Confidentiality
All information shared during consulting engagements is treated as confidential, as described in our Terms of Service. We will not disclose your business data, financial information, operational details, or proprietary information to third parties without your consent, except:
- As required by law, subpoena, or court order
- To authorized team members or subcontractors working on your engagement (bound by confidentiality obligations)
- In anonymized, aggregated form that cannot identify you or your business

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months.
California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf by providing written authorization to hello@avissh.com.
10. Cookies, Tracking, and Do Not Track
We do not use cookies on avissh.com. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or any cross-site tracking technology.
Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. This is because we do not engage in any tracking that such signals are designed to prevent.

Our services are designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
